2015 Regional Competition with David Wallace, director

We won AA First Place and will compete in 2016 Harmony Classic!

Sounds of Pittsburgh scored 618 points at our regional competition this May. That gave us a 2nd place overall and first place in our midsize (AA) chorus division. Our score was high enough to place us at the International Harmony Classic competition in 2016. We will be competing in Las Vegas on October 18, 2016 at the MGM Grand.

Regional Contest Awards

We are happy to announce our Region 17 Contest results: The Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus is the 2011 1st Place Midsize chorus and 2nd Place chorus for the region.

Congratulations also to Dynasty, who won 2nd Place in the Quartet competition this year. (Lets hope they like the color red!)

It was a great contest and we heard some wonderful singing by our colleagues in the region. Our best wishes go to Greater Cleveland Chorus for winning first place in the chorus competition and TGIF for their first place finish in the quartet competition. Go get ’em at International! We are proud of them both — even if they are from Cleveland… 😉
