Sounds of Pittsburgh Participates in Day of Giving May 6, 2014

Pittsburgh Day of Giving 2014The Sounds of Pittsburgh chorus is an award-winning women’s a cappella chorus from the Greater Pittsburgh area. We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop four-part harmony.

While our chorus offers educational opportunities to its members, we also serve the community through shows and other events throughout the Pittsburgh area.

Sounds of Pittsburgh is a past championship chorus, having represented our four-state region six times on the thrilling international contest stage from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. In 2009 we competed on the International stage in Nashville.

Its easy – Donate this Day of Giving!
Please consider donating this Day of Giving 2014 on Tuesday, May 6th from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. (Midnight.) To participate, visit and choose The Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus

A Few things to remember:

  • This is an 18-hour event and it will replace the Day of Giving traditionally held in October.
  • Organizations will receive a pro-rated portion of the match pool. The match will be capped at $1,000 per donor transaction per organization. For example, if you make a gift of $5,000 to one organization, only $1,000 of that gift will count toward the match calculation.
  • Last, but surely not least! Remember that for every $1 donated to the Chorus, we can purchase $5 worth of music, coaching and performance opportunities!
